These terms cover buying and using the templates sold on formsandsheets.com. Forms and Sheets is run by me, Hamza Afridi. Questions go to formssheetsupport@gmail.com.
Who you buy from
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. It takes the payment, adds any sales tax or VAT your country needs, sends the receipt and provides customer service for billing questions. Its buyer terms apply to the payment. Questions about a template itself come to me.
What you get
Each template is a digital file, an Excel workbook (.xlsx). Nothing is posted to you. After you pay you get a download link on the screen and in your email receipt. The link does not expire and has no download limit, so keep the email.
Prices are shown in US dollars. The price on the product page is the price of the file; any tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
What you may do with it
One purchase gives one business, or one person, the right to use the template for its own work, on as many of its own computers as it needs. You can type in your own details, change the formulas, add tabs and print or send the results, such as an estimate, to your own clients.
You may not sell, share, give away or upload the template, or a changed copy of it, as a template for others to use. This includes marketplaces, file-sharing sites and shared drives open to other businesses. If another business wants the template, it can buy its own copy.
What the templates work in
Every template is built and checked in Microsoft Excel. The formulas are plain Excel formulas, with no macros and nothing to install. Other spreadsheet apps, such as Google Sheets, Apple Numbers or LibreOffice, can open .xlsx files but may show or calculate some parts differently, and the templates have not been tested in them.
Your numbers are your responsibility
Before a template goes on sale, its example is worked out separately and Excel has to reach the same totals, to the cent. The totals then depend on what you type in: your costs, markups, tax rates and quantities. Please check what you send to a client. The templates are tools for your own work, not tax, legal or financial advice. Check tax rules for your area with a professional.
If something is wrong
If you find a mistake in a template, tell me and I will fix it. If a template is not right for you, the refund policy explains how to get your money back.
As far as the law allows, my responsibility for any template is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes
These terms may be updated, and the date at the top changes when they are. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones shown on the day you bought.
